I am sure you have already heard about the Landmarks Field Trip from your son or daughter - it was a wonderful trip! Many children have asked me to pass along the name of the building where we saw all the "super-cool maps" because they would like to take their families back for a longer look. (The building is open on weekends as well!)
It is the URA Building and is located just opposite Maxwell Food Centre. There are maps upstairs and maps downstairs - maps of the CBD and maps of the whole of Singapore. Even maps showing the future landmarks of Singapore! There are also displays showing how Singapore has changed over the last 60 years. If you have a chance to visit, we hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
After seeing the maps, we made our way down the river to see the maps come to life and to have lunch with a view of some of the most famous landmarks in Singapore. Thank you to the parents who came along and made the trip such a successful one!
