Service Learning

As you know last week the students in the Infant school focused on service. We took the K2 students along with us on our trips to Happy Lodge, so we could introduce them to the residents. We also had lunch twice with the K2 classes. It was great to get to know each other better.

We heard presentations about KUMA and The Island Foundation (TIF). Our class also did a bit or research on TIF by reading bi-lingual books written in partnership with UWC students and students from Bintan. Be sure to ask your son or daughter for some of their observations about the differences and similarities between life in Singapore and life in Bintan.
