Working with larger numbers

This week the children played a math game called, Missing Numbers. To play the game they used a grid with the numbers 101 - 200. One partner closed their eyes tight while the other partner covered up some of the missing numbers on the chart. There was a lot of adding and subtracting and looking for patterns as the children tried to figure which numbers were hidden.

Ask your child to teach you the game. It was great to see the children gaining fluency when working with 3-digit numbers.
